Privacy policy
In short: Tabel collects no data about you.
The app
Tabel has no account, no analytics, no crash reporting, no ads and no tracking.
Tabel only connects to the databases and SSH servers you set up. There is no other network traffic – not to Peter Theill either.
Your connection settings and query history are stored locally on your Mac, in the app's own container. Passwords and passphrases are stored in the macOS Keychain.
Tabel runs in the App Sandbox and can only open files you pick. When you open a SQLite database, Tabel asks once for access to its folder so SQLite can write its journal files next to it.
Keeping and deleting data
Everything stays on your Mac until you delete it. Delete a connection in Tabel to remove it and its saved passwords. Clear the history under Settings › Privacy › Clear History. Delete the app and the folder ~/Library/Containers/com.theill.tabel and everything is gone – Peter Theill never had a copy.
